According to Wikipedia , rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic, systemic inflammatory disorder that may affect many tissues and organs, but principally attacks the joints producing an inflammatory synovitis that often progresses to destruction of the articular cartilage and ankylosis of the joints. Rheumatoid arthritis can also produce diffuse inflammation in the lungs, pericardium, pleura, and sclera, and also nodular lesions, most common in subcutaneous tissue under the skin. To modern medicine, the cause of rheumatoid arthritis is unknown, and it is believe that autoimmunity plays a pivotal role in its chronicity and progression.

To ancient oriental medicine, rheumatoid arthritis is due to a kind of sweating disorder where the patient show the inability to produce sweat on their upper and lower limbs . The inability to sweat in response to work and/or body temperature increases is called anhydrosis. Sweating allows the body to regulate its temperature. The sweat leaves your skin through tiny holes called pores. When the pores are too fine or totally close, a patient will suffered from anhydrosis. When sweat is unable to leaves our skin through pores, it will accumulate at our joints. The excessive sweat at our joints will eventually attacks the joints producing an inflammatory synovitis that often progresses to destruction of the articular cartilage and ankylosis of the joints.

To treat rheumatoid arthritis effectively, the doctors need to treat anhydrosis first, modern medicine know how to treat anhydrosis on horses. But without realizing that rheumatoid arthritis is the cumulative effect of anhydrosis, modern medicine is helpless and hopeless in treating rheumatoid arthritis.
