Unit 4 Theories and Principals for Planning and Enabling Learning
Throughout this assignment I will be identifying the importance of the theories and principles of the learning environment and communication within the learning environment. Theories include: Behaviourism, Kolb’s Learning Cycle, Cognitivism, Humanistic, Pedagogy, Andragogy. Throughout this assignment I will highlight factors which affect learning and explain the impacts these have on the learning environment and on the learners. I will also be reflecting on the impact that these principles and theories of learning have on the planning and delivery of teaching in my own experience and reflect on the effect they have on my professional development.

Whether it is in the classroom or sat at home, it is important to understand that learning takes place all the time and people can learn new information everyday regardless of age, culture or background. Within the educational system teachers have to vary their delivery depending on factors such as age, skill sets and in particular, ability. It is important to understand that by implementing these theories and principles, it supports teaching staff to perform a lot better within the educational environment as well as creating a more inclusive learning experience for all.

Both positive and negative experiences can be reflected on and analysed, in order to improve learning.   Jarvis...
