Ted Bundy

Ted Bundy

In the cases of Ted Bundy, he was not just any regular murder. He was a serial killer. He thought outside of the box and got ahead of anyone he came in contact with.   Bundy was facing two murder trials within a few years apart. Bundy was linked to thirty-six different murders in different states and chose to represent himself without a defense attorney. He became the main suspect in the 1978 murders in the Chi Omega sorority murder in Tallahassee. He was convicted for the Chi Omega murders on July 23.

They were going to go with the strategy to plead not guilty by reason of insanity. This was a bit risky but it was one of the only few options the defense had given the circumstances.
In this case it involved the kidnapping and murder of Kimberly Leach. He was pulled over and led about his name which led to the interrogation. Later a police officer’s daughter was approached by the Bundy and she got the lance plate numbers. Police ran the tags and the van he had stolen from the Chi Omega sorority house. The van contained a lot of valuable evidence including blood,...
