Team Leadership

          “ If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader” (John Quincy Adams). My manager tells me I’m about to get a new department the company will be adding that is part of the company’s strategic plan to enter a particular market segment. My manager would like me to manage one of the teams in this new department. My manager has put together the team I will be managing. My new team consists of the members of my current Learning Team, Kyle and Eric. To be successful in the new market segment, my team must efficiently accomplish the goals set by the company. My manager, therefore, would like me to develop a leadership approach for each team member on my team based on the theories of leadership and each member’s individual personalities.

Evaluation Purpose
      The MBTI is a good tool to utilize to learn more about our personalities, and how we can apply them in the world of business. It guides us towards our interests, strengths, and motivations to open many other doors in our futures. This tool will help us to come together as a workforce and work more cohesively letting us know all of our strengths and weaknesses. It will also let us know how to handle, or who would be best to handle different types of situations now and in the future. The goal is to bring the team together and will help the individuals and the team stronger.

      Kyle Deghetto has been identified as “ENTP”. He is innovative which means he can bring new ideas to a situation. He is individualistic, and may be better working alone on specific things while being very reliable. But he is also versatile, and will be able to adapt to any situation or setting he is put into.
