TDA 2.1 Child and young person development.

      2.1 Describe the expected pattern of children and young people’s development from birth to 19 years, to include
Physical development
Communication and intellectual development
Social, emotional and behavioural development

BIRTH | Grasp reflex this is when a baby with its hand around an object that has been placed in hand. | Babies starting to look round and listening to different sounds. | Babies begin to form a close bond with there primary carers. | Babies cry in order to get help with there needs like nappy needing changing or hungry. |
3 MONTHS | Babies will begin to lift there heads and be interested in there hands and fingers. | Babies starting to notice things around them for example mobiles and play mats. | Babies will enjoy bath time. They will start to smile back when they see a smiling face. | Babies will begin to get excited when it’s feeding time. |
6 MONTHS | Babies will start to put things in there mouth, sitting up with support, rolling over. | Enjoy playing games like pat a cake and this little piggy, and always being curious to what is happening around them. | Lifting there arms to be .picked up and smiles when interacting with people | Babies will start laughing and babbling and making different noises. |
9 MONTHS | Babies will be crawling or rolling around sitting up without any support and finger feeding. | Exploring different objects using hands and mouth. | Staying near by to parents or family members. | Babbling in tune |
