AT&T provides a wide variety of telecommunication products and service.   AT&T provides these products and services to over 77 million customers (Marketline, 2010). AT&T has strived over the last several years to become the world's largest and most sophisticated communications network in North America. With the determination to out shine its competition and provide cutting edge technology to its customers will make AT&T number one in the telecommunications market.
AT&T's strategic plan is to double its customer base for 2011. AT&T's focus will need to be on improving it products and services with innovative technology. AT&T will need to improve its current network or consider going to 4g network. Going to the 4g network will also increase competitive edge over other telecommunications companies.

AT&T Mission
AT&T mission is to exploit technical innovations for the benefit of AT&T and its customers by implementing next-generation technologies and network advancements in services and operations (AT&T.com, 2010).   Provided customer with cutting edge technology will increase the number of customers. This is direct correlation with AT&T's strategic plan.

AT&T Vision
AT&T vision is to focus on the future and aggressively pursue innovation (AT&T. com, 2010). AT&T vision is to design and create new global networks, process, and services platforms that maximize automation, allowing for a reallocation of human resources to more complex and productive work (AT&T.com, 2010). This approach focuses on drawing customers to top of the line telecommunication services and products.
