Spring Harbor is a profitable company. Spring Harbor a Long Care Continuing Retirement home is the only one of its kind in down south. Upon the investigation of the various alternatives, a recommendation of a strategy or a combination of strategies will be presented. A growing trend among many businesses is through mergers and acquisitions. Spring Harbor’s Long Term Continuing Care Retirement Community is not exempt. External Environmental Factors External environment factors play a significant role on how this Spring Harbor operates as with most large businesses. Spring Harbor also seeks to pursue to be the first to resolve critical issues, making them the ultimate problem solvers.
Generic Strategy/Value Disciplines
. The generic strategy approach may be applied to organizations of all sizes and is a one size fits all approach. It can be divided into three types of approaches may be applied as alternatives for a given organization or industry as an improvement for future growth. Spring Harbor wants to provide a nurturing home within the community that provides meaningful engagement, lasting relationships and enrichment to the lives of those who live, work, and serve at Spring Harbor.
Low-Cost Leadership
The cost leadership strategy seeks to improve profit margins by bringing down the costs of producing while enabling the organization to still charge market prices.   A growing trend among many businesses is through mergers and acquisitions. No longer are the days when one business can to dominate totally an entire industry. Spring Harbor’s Long Term Continuing Care Retirement Community is not exempt.
