Social Responsibility - Students Contribution

Being Socially Responsible means that people must behave ethically and with sensitivity toward social, cultural, economic and environmental issues. Social responsibility helps individuals, organizations and government to have a positive impact on development of the country.
This can be passive, by avoiding engaging in socially harmful acts or this can be active, by   performing activities that directly contributes to public or social goals.It is morally duty of everyone to act in such a way that the people around them are not adversely affected. It is a commitment everyone has towards the society – contributing towards social, cultural and ecological causes.
Students Contribution:
Student social responsibility is the responsibility of every student for his/her actions. School students can contribute by organizing programmes, skits and workshops to make people understand their responsibility towards their society and country   for social and environmental issues .
Also, student societies can be made in school campuses for different causes. Hence, every student would be required to become a part of one or more such societies. These would help students establish link between schools and community at large.

  *   Best from Waste Society
  *   Gender Equality Society
  *   Environment Awareness Society
  *   Community Hygiene and Sanitation Society
  *   Traffic Awareness and Road Safety Society
  *   AIDS Awareness and Public Health Society
Lastly, students can also involve their parents for the above social causes like
  * Making contribution for Orphanages and Old Age Homes.
