Social networking is the grouping of individuals into specific groups, like small communities or neighborhoods or subdivision. Although social networking is possible in person, especially at work, universities, and high schools, it is most popular online. As for Internet dating is a dating system which allows individuals, couples and groups to make contact and communicate with each other over the Internet, usually with the objective of developing a personal, romantic, or sexual relationship. Online dating services usually provide extreme matchmaking over the Internet, through the use of computers or cell phones. Internet dating and social networking are similar in many ways, but differ way more than what you think.
             
Many misrepresent themselves. They do so because they may not feel confident with they look or act, so they take on the personality of others who they look up to. A new modern day application is Skype. It is used to do online video chat and video conference for work, relationships (great for long-distance relationships). Some may take Internet dating and social networking a little too far and out of proportion to where they begin stalking another person. That is not okay. They begin an obsession about the other person. It could be that they just sit on the Internet all day and fantasize about that person. Lying, cheating, betrayal, and trust issues all consist of infidelity. In social networking and Internet dating, infidelity plays a big part because that’s basically what it consist of. Nothing but lies!
