Review What Your Role, Responsibilities and Boundaries as a Teacher Would Be in Terms of the Teaching/Training Cycle.

Review what your role, responsibilities and boundaries as a teacher would be in terms of the teaching/training cycle.

The teaching cycle is very important. The process has been put into place to give teachers a solid guide to manage their teaching from start to finish.
It is made up of five key areas. Identifying Needs, Designing and Planning, Delivering and Facilitating, Assessing and the fifth is evaluating.
I will try and review my role, my main responsibilities and boundaries in terms of the teaching cycle.
Identifying needs
My main role in identifying the needs of the learners would be to complete an initial assessment to gage the level of the learner. It would be at this point I would find out if they needed any extra help or assistance with their learning. “For some students a diagnosis offers a sense of relief. It assures them that “they “have an issue, rather than that it “is” them”. (Teaching 2010) I would be responsible to induct the learners onto the course and the organization. The boundaries I may incur might be if a learner had a hearing impediment etc if it were to be the case I would then arrange for extra help.
Designing and planning
My main role in the design and planning of the course/lesson would be to prepare a SOW and lesson plans and to ensure the contents meets the course/lesson requirents and is relevant to the learners and to the learner’s level. “The focus of teaching must be educating each and every student to the best of my ability”. (Kirklin, Kathleen 2010)
I would be responsible to ensure I had a contingency plan in place in case of my absence.
The boundaries I may come across when planning my lessons could be a shortage of cooking equipment, I would need to consider the type of meals the learners would cook.
Delivering and Facilitating
My main role in the delivery and facilitating would be to prepare the classroom/ workshop for the lesson and to support, direct each learner individually or as a group. Teach and deliver...
