Pro and Con

I played sports all throughout my childhood, and I hung out with kids who did the same. There are so many bad things a kid could get involved   in, but being in a sport shows children a different approach to not get sucked into it. There is however, a possibility of injury, angry adults, and being forced into a sport the kid really doesn’t want to play.   There are both pros and cons to kids playing sports.
Kids are mesmerized by staying inside all day playing video games, eating junk food, and watching television. They should be outside having fun playing sports and exercising. Kids end up not playing sports   or quitting after a short while because their parents don’t want them to play and get hurt, or they feel like they wont be good enough for the sport. Kids also don’t like to lose, but being in a team sport gives them a better mindset. Playing sports at a young age teaches the child to be a team player, a good leader, and this will continue on as they get older. People that don’t agree with kids playing sports being a good idea, should think about the benefits it provides to the kids, and people surrounded by them. Kids that play sports are definitely going to be healthier. They will also have better social skills. Team sports can be educational and help kids gain new friends. It can also help them become physically fit. Sports help kids focus on agility, strength, coordination, and response time. These skills will help kids all through their life. Kids can learn how to deal with success in winning and losing called sportsmanship. Showing kids that it is ok to lose will help them accept things. Sports shows kids how to follow rules which is crucial in school. Sports help with self discipline letting children know how they perform when they are paying attention and focused.
