Physician Assisted Suicide has been a very controversial subject over the past few years. Many people agree passionately with this issue as thousands also disagree. There are many pros and cons that come with discussing this topic. While many people think that Physician Assisted Suicide is immoral, the positive does outweighs the negative. Thousands of terminally-ill patients would benefit from it. Physician Assisted Suicide should be made legal in the United States.   
First of all, the only way a person can qualified for Physician Assisted Suicide is if they are terminally ill. Many people argue that people that can recover are going to be killed but that is not the case. Sadly, most of the people are going to die slow, painful deaths so why should it not be an option if it will help thousands of people. Nobody wants to live a life where they are in constant pain and stress. There was a case with the patient of Dr. Charles Bentz who spent 10 years fighting cancer. His patient had underwent everything from chemotherapy to radiology; he could just not do it anymore. It’s sad to see cases like these where people could be put out of their misery, but people choose to let it not be an option. People spend years and years under these conditions; it’s not only physically but emotionally exhausting. The human body can only take so much. Most patients have already given up and just want to rest peacefully. When you have been dealing with cancer for years it’s not a radical decision to through with this plan that someone might regret.   
The longer a person waits to practice Physician Assisted Suicide, the more their vital organs will begin to shut down. Many cases have occurred where patients with terminally-ill diseases die because their heart or lungs shut down.
