Obesity and Eating Disorders

A risk of excess body fat is that an obese person has a bigger chance of getting diabetes than a non-obese person. When a person is to have excess body they can face many issues such as heart disease, strokes, high blood pressure and certain forms of cancer. Near 60% of the United States population is overweight. When it comes to being overweight a person doesn’t want to be too small because it has bad side effects as well, such as for women it can lead to reproduction problems.
Binge eating can be a major problem because most of the time the person would just consume food so fast the person wouldn’t be able to register of even taste what the person is even consuming. Afterwards or while a binge eater would eat the person would feel upset or very distressed because the person would feel disgusted. The problem with binge eating is that the person usually feels guilty or anything of that matter and the person tells themselves that he or she wants to quit but feels as if they need can’t quit. Bulimia nervosa on the other hand, after the person eats they have a few different techniques to make themselves feel better and or “make up” for over eating the person would   make themselves vomit, fast, or over-exercise. Reason why each of these can be an issue is that vomiting can be because a person isn’t getting their regular needed nutrients. A reason fasting can be bad is because when a person is to stop eating and wait hours to eat is that they will gain weight, the person will want to eat a lot because they are hungry. A reason why over-exercising is bad for a person is because after eating a heavy meal and then going to over work your body will tire you out ferly quickly and it could lead to physical issues such as a heart attack, stroke, or something of that matter.   It is never a good thing for a person to overwork their body, especially after eating heavily....
