A contract of employment is an agreement between an employer and employee and is the basis of the employment relationship.

4. Describe how representative bodies can support employees.

The representative bodies can support employees by discussing any concerns employees may have regarding their employer. They also can accompany employees to disciplinary or grievance hearings. They can help with any Health and Safety issues in the business. They can also represent employee in negotiations over pay and terms and conditions of employment.
5. Identify employer and employee responsibilities for equality and diversity in a business environment.   You should give at least two employer responsibilities and two employee responsibilities.
