My Journey

“Its good to have end to a journey toward, but it’s the journey that matters most in the end.” The meaning of the quote to me is that it doesn’t matter how hard you try, you will pay it off in the end because of your patience’s, caring, & hardworking your doing now will affect your future. In my essay, I will be talking about my journey from the start of my 1st year as a freshman of LHS to my 4th year as a senior.

My journey to Lakewood High School was a new experience for me and I learn a lot from it. When I was a freshman, I was glad that I get to see my friends from 8th grade and my best friends that I get to go to school with. Since freshman year, I got smarter when the years went by and the lessons I learn from the teachers at LHS. My attitude change a lot since my 1st year and my actions change too. Through the years of high school, I met new students in school and became friends in those years. I learn a lot in school, but sometimes I wish that I could of learn more in school, than I had too, but that‘s life. In addition, I had great teachers through the years of high school especially Mr. Pickell aka (Bacon Back).

I change a lot through high school and had good experiences in school too. I got good grades in school, even though I was late to class everyday for 3 years now, but I always try my best to be on time to class so I can be prepared to learn. I would have changed my test grades and quizzes if I studied hard for them. I wouldn’t think that some of my friends moved out of New Jersey because of their parent’s jobs, but that’s another story for another time. Everything else would stay the same throughout the year. Some of the teachers shouldn’t have been laid off from their jobs because they loves us students and wants to help us to achieve our goals in life. I’m glad that I have a chance to learn new things in school and life it self.
