Originally it was designed for industrial uses the QR codes have become familiar with consumer advertising. Generally, smartphones are used as QR codes scanners, displaying code and transforming it to a useful form (such as standard URL’s for websites, preventing the need for individuals to type into the web browser). QR code has become the base for advertising strategy it supplies a way to access websites more efficiently than by manually input in the URL, it’s very convenient for consumers.
Although QR code was used to track parts in the vehicle industry, now it is used over a wide span of applications, for instance: transport and entertaining ticketing, product/loyalty marketing (ex. mobile couponing where a company uses it to discount a percentage off a particular merchandise using QR code decoder which is a mobile app that can also store the company’s information with the alpha-numeric texting data as seen in the Yellow Pages) and their in-store label.
Changes the mobile scanning had brought to users are the convenience ways to have things at your disposal, without having all the paperwork on hand, for instance like bus or train tickets. You would just show the download copy of the ticket to the agent and they scan the barcode is the same as having the ticket.   When grocery shopping you would download coupons on your mobile device that you show the cashier saves you the time and it much more convenient. Use the QR code for scanning products to get more information on the product, and to use it for comparing prices with other competitions.
