Rationale/Background of the Study
Today’s generation were almost adopt to technology, on how it benefits us. And also providing us good consolation and comfort. The technology today plays a vital role in our society. It makes man work easier and faster. It reduces costs to an organization from paper works up to computerized working system. Many manual transactions can be computerized by using software applications or computer systems to make work easier and efficient. Use of computerized systems had the ability to handle multi-tasking; nowadays we prefer computerized data processing because of its accuracy, precision and high speed in accomplishing a task. The presence of computer in a clinic is not only to be influenced by the trend of modernization, but this also help much in keeping the medical records of every individual in safety and a secured file.
Clinicians are expected to document encounters they have with every patient to ensure crucial information for decision making and action taken are also recorded. Documentation is also required as an archival record of what happened in cases of dispute. To a great extent, Clinicians resent the task of documentation as it destructs their primary task taking care of patients. As a medical care gets more and more complex and new information is already overwhelming Clinicians capacity to treat patients with latest information, clinicians needs new technology to help them cope. There is great need for a digital record to allow capture of patient data that can be processed.
