Malcolm X

We cannot make laws permanent unless we change people’s mind. Although, we ended slavery by laws, there is still a classification of blacks and whites which puts black people down. Because of being excluded by whites in white majority countries, some black people spoke up against this exclusion. One of the most outspoken and radical of them was Malcolm X. He encouraged black people to challenge white domination, and to actively demand change. Sadly, the Muslim and African-American leader was killed by his people.
Since the U.S started industrialization and became modern before black countries, white people became dominant than black people which is still the same today. Therefore, some white people see themselves in a better possession than black people and some black people feel excluded in a society where white people are the majority. Although, we have fixed laws, we cannot fix people’s mind easily. As a human nature, people feel more comfortable around people who look like themselves. Eventually, there has been a race issue in the U.S. because there are people from different races living in one country.
Malcolm X was one of the angriest of these black people who spoke up against racism. He fought with racism all his life. He traveled around the world and made speeches in many countries. This allowed him to affect a lot of people as it allowed him to see the world and different beliefs. First, he was introduced to Islam when he was in prison. Then, after he got out of the prison and he went to Mecca to complete Hajj. Malcolm X said the trip allowed him to see Muslims of different races interacting as equals. He came to believe that Islam could be the means by which racial problems could be overcome. Consequently, he joined Nation of Muslim a large group of Muslim people.
What followed were his effective speeches. Many white people, and some blacks, were alarmed by Malcolm X and the things he said. He and the Nation of Islam were described as hatemongers,...
