Few people deny the dangers of drug use, while many teens are curious about drugs. They should stay away from drugs because drugs affect our health, lead to academic failure, and jeopardizes safety. Drugs are used from a long period of time in many countries. The concentration of drugs has increased from late 1960’s and 1970’s. Drugs can quickly takeover our lives. Friends and acquaintance have the greatest influence of using drugs during adolescence.

Drugs are chemicals that change the way a person's body or mind works. Drugs are not good for health as they have many side effects and damage our brain, heart and other important organs. Drug is a depressant that slows down the functions of the central nervous system and makes us less aware of the events around us. Drug’s in Sports
In today’s professional athletic events athletes are using whatever they can find to give them an upper hand or give them the winning edge on other athletes just to keep there careers in check, but what is the price of using drugs in sports? Athletes endanger not only themselves but everyone around them when they use drugs. Athletes are aware what damages they could receive if they take these drugs but they refuse to give them up. Professional sports commissioners should enforce a drug testing policy for all athletes.
There are many drugs that professional athletes can use to increase their performance in sports. In this drug era in today’s sports there are tons of drugs that athletes can use to help them do better in their specific sport there participating in.
