Information Systems and Software Applications
      The information systems and software applications are available for multiple organizational departments to increase productivity and help the departments within the business to function at a higher standard. It is vital that the information systems and software applications be used by the departments and employees within a company. A few of the organizational departments that benefit from information systems and software applications are Human Resources, Finance and Accounting, and Marketing departments.
      Human resources departments use information systems and software applications to help aide in the hiring of new employees within a company. The systems and software can be used by but are not limited to the individual departments within human resources.   Some examples of a human resources department using these applications are to help in the recruiting process and another is to analyze and screen job applicants. The human resources department’s ability to use   these two functions successfully through software applications makes the jobs of the managers and employees less time-consuming and more effective for the company. The applications simplify the hiring process and allow the company to analyze all of the data that has been compiled and hire the most qualified employees for the job.
      Finance and Accounting departments also use information systems and software applications to monitor world financial markets and summarize data and prepare reports for different departments within the company. The reports are used forecast revenues and company activities. The reports also aide in ensuring the company is financial sound and all documentation, billing, and payrolls are accurate.
