Hamlet

Every individual has different opinions, ideas as well as different thoughts.   Many argue as to who is the actual victim in William Shakespeare's play Hamlet.   Some people believe that Hamlet is the victim in this horrible tragedy, while others believe that Ophelia is the ultimate victim.   There are three different ideas that are believed to be the causes of Ophelia's mental madness that lead her to her death, causing her to be the ultimate victim. The first idea is that Polonius tells Ophelia that she may no longer see Hamlet, and as time progresses Ophelia is convinced to read her love letters to Claudius.   The second idea is that Hamlet himself tells Ophelia that he no longer loves her.   The third idea is that Hamlet kills Polonius causing Ophelia to go mad with grief from her father's death.
