C100 End of Theme Essay Requirement





ESSAY INSTRUCTIONS


The purpose of the essay is to assess your written communication skills.   Your challenge is to persuade others of the validity of the thesis you present in your paper.   This essay counts as 30 percent of your overall C100 Theme grade.

Do not share your work with other students.   This is an individual assignment.   If you have questions about this requirement, you may contact the DDE support team at usarmy.leavenworth.tradoc.mbx.dde-support.army.mil   .   Remember to cite all sources.   When in doubt, always cite the information if it is not your original thought.

Format your essay in accordance with Student Text 22-2. Your paper should be 3 to 5 pages typed, double-spaced, and use one-inch margins and Times New Roman font size 12.   Include your last name on each page of your essay (upper right-hand corner within the header) and number your pages within the footer.

You may use references to help you with the assignment.

Select one module within the C100 Foundations Block and argue why it will assist you in your duties as a Field Grade officer over the next 10-years of your career.   A list of the module descriptions is provided for you in a separate document.


To complete this requirement, you must submit your essay and the completed 1009w form to DDE.   You must complete this assignment and all Phase 1 requirements before you can progress on to TASS or ADL Phase 2.
