Teenagers around the world have been increasingly dropping out of high school. There are many logical and illogical reasons for this disaster. The question is; how can we stop this? As numbers of drop outs increase so does the nations faith on youth success. Parents must be very worried for their uprising teenagers. At this point many scientists and psychologists have tried looking through all options. This includes criminal history of the student, educational background, and relationships between families…etc. In every other student since the year 2009, there has been lack of motivation and financial crisis that leads to more and more drop outs. It is understood that situations arise but someone can help these young individuals. Most young adults in high school are only looking at the situation at what is happening now and not thinking about the future. Instead of making it harder for themselves and dropping out, they would be doing much better if they stuck it out and graduated. More jobs today, require a high school diploma, without one you would be making below minimum wage which will keep the student in the confined predicament.

The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child states that every child has the right to an education that develops their “personality, talents and mental and physical abilities to their fullest potential.” Teenagers of this society have not taken the advantage of this right from the board of education. In the past, Americans of all ethnicities would be deprived of this opportunity due to racism and further malfunctions in society. Although years have passed and some things are passed and so the mystery stands; why when views of society better, does the minds and mental state of children begin to slack off? They begin to not care for education. In other countries, most children would sacrifice a lot just to be in most of American’s shoes because of the freedom that most Americans have....
