I had an emergency placement on the 22 January 2014 ,I got a phone call at about   5pm from Jean in fostering duty. At about   7.30 the social worker came with AA , he was tired and hungry also worried about   being separated from his family . I was given brief information   about AA such as he is Muslim   vegetarian also needed a nappy at night .I was also explained that dad was in Bangladesh and would be home in the next few days. AA was a little tearful as the social worker got ready to go so   I asked if he would like to see the bed room he was going to sleep in ,AA did not want to sleep in the cot bed he was a big boy for a 4 year old .I told him I would sort something out but first I needed to feed him .I asked him what he wanted to eat he was not sure i asked if he wanted Mc Donald's this bought a smile to his face. so we got him a kids meal   which he ate happily .Sleeping arrangements needed sorting out ,I asked my daughter if she wanted a sleep over in my room which made her very happy so I put her in the travel cot. AA was by now happy to sleep in my daughter bed   this helped to keep AA from getting upset I would reassess the situation in the morning. I washed and changed him and put him to bed after reading him a story .AA woke   up a few times in the night but was settled .
AA found it hard to wake up in the morning for nursery but we got ready and he had breakfast .I took him to nursery providing age appropriate car seat ,I talked to AA about what he liked to do at nursery and what games he liked he talked and was happy he told me his dad was bringing lots of toys from Bangladesh .   AA was fine going to nursery I spoke to his teacher and gave her some information. After nursery I took AA to wrigglers to see some exotic animal which he enjoyed very much .At about 5pm I got a phone call from duty social worker that Zoe was trying to get in contact with me .i spoke to her and was informed that arrangements had been made for AA to stay with family friends...
