      2.1 Identify stakeholders in relation to the team’s objectives

There are many people in our company who could be identified as a stakeholder is this project for ROI ( Return on Investment). I have listed below;

  * Salesmen
  * Customers
  * IT Department
  * Directors
  * Exco Members (Shareholders)
  * Internal Sales
  * External Sales
  * Support Staff

      2.2 Describe how the team’s objectives meet stakeholder requirements
The team has to work together to discuss the stakeholders requirements and decide what must be done to meet them. At this stage it would be crucial to decide what each individual’s responsibility is on the team in relation to delivering these needs.
I believe that at this stage it is critical to engage the team fully and be clear and concise about the goals we wish to achieve and outlining exactly how we are going to achieve them.
For example; the ultimate goal in the project is to save money where we generally lose it on days with bad weather, primarily due to cranes not being able to work in high wind speeds. Therefore the IT department’s goal is to develop the software that will send out automatic emails synced with the weather updates. The project manager’s role is to ensure that the team have the resources they need to complete this project within the time given.

      2.3 Identify the work plans with the team, gaining commitment to meet stakeholder needs

A conversation with the team needs to take place whereby the project manager first ensures every member of the team has a full and clear understanding of the objectives they are trying to reach. Next the project manager must point out the responsibilities of each member of personnel on the team.
