Child Labour

The most innocent phase in human life is childhood. It is the stage of life when the human foundations are laid for a successful adult life. It is the phase when we are carefree, fun-loving, learning, playing......Go back into your childhood, and for most of us, there are beautiful memories. And how wonderful it is to grow up with such carefree abandonment while we have parents, grandparents and others looking after us. But it may not be the same story for many other children out there.
Yes, there are far more children scarred and being tormented. They have unpleasant childhoods and don't even want to think about it! They would do anything to get out of the dungeons of being children and being controlled and tortured by others. They want to break free from this world but only some manage to get out and get a better life, while the rest continue to be where they are, not out of choice but out of force! This is CHILD LABOUR. Think about these children and their lives.....
Children of our age 12, 13 or whatever it may be, working hard and tirelessly while on the other hand we have wonderful, carefree lives.
Have we thought; the reason for child labour to come up? There are many reasons. In some cases the breadwinner of the family dies...And the mother has no other choice other than letting the child go out for work. But mostly it’s due to poverty and the circumstances the children live in. Let’s take India for example.....a majority of its population suffers from poverty. If this is the condition, then imagine the future of India! Who are the future citizens and brains of India? - The children of the nation of course! But India isn't the only country in the world suffering from poverty....there are innumerable countries with the same problem. Childhood is a phase of life when children learn and be educated.
