1. Explain the purpose of agreeing standards for your own work.   Give at least two reasons. [4.1]

Organisation provides a foundation of work standards to ensure everyone knows what is required from them and from people around them. As an employee, we should always make sure that we know exactly the work standards required of you, for example your uniform standard should always be acceptable because this paints a picture of what the company is like.   You’re your behaviour must be acceptable in the work environment .

If an employee doesn't have a standard of work or unclear then it is difficult for them to know what or how or when they should be doing it. The absence of standards makes it impossible for an employee to effectively monitor their own performance. If some colleagues work to lower standards, it can affect the work of others.


2. Explain the purpose of taking on new challenges and being able to adapt to change at work. [4.2]

The purpose for agreeing   targets for work is to keep everyone on task and focused on completing targets that arent   out of reach.   The purpose of agreeing and setting high standards for work is to make sure that they try their hardest and always reach for new challenges. Everyone benefits from setting high expectations for themselves. Everything can be done better, faster, and more efficiently. Striving for the best is the true meaning of excellence.

3. Explain the purpose of treating others with honesty and consideration. [4.3]

Employees and Management must work as a team and sometimes they work very closely together so being honest and respectful makes for a very effective team and the work/project/meeting runs much more smoothly. An individual should want to have the characteristics of being honest and respectful to anyone in the workplace whether they dislike someone.
