Value Alignment: Individual & Apple, Inc.
Ethics and values play an important role in an organization and are important to success. To achieve a successful alignment between personal and corporate values, there needs to be a “core” relationship between the employee and the company they work for. The benefits are of significant value to both the organization and the employee. Established in April 1976, Apple, Inc. has grown substantially and is a multinational corporation that designs and manufactures electronics, computer software, and commercial servers. Ethical values play an important role in that organization’s mission and vision statements, which in turn, keeps employees whose values are similar, happy and productive.
Origin and Subsequent Evolution of Values
The personal and workplace values of our team are much the same including core values like integrity, teamwork, performance, and learning.   Acting ethical and developing trust and respect in the workplace is important. Integrity to me means honesty, trustworthiness, and respect. Teamwork involves sharing an open communication with other employees. Performance is based on the determination to strive for flawless performance in the workplace. Our team view of learning consists of possessing the necessary skills and training needed to perform a given duty.   Our team individual values are based on doing the right thing and treating all people equally and with respect. In the workplace, individuals must act ethically and treat everyone with respect.

        The individual values mentioned are what drive each of our team members’ actions and behaviors.
