Outcome 1: Understand why effective communication is important in the work setting

Outcome 1.1 - Identify the different reasons people communicate

Consider the different reasons we communicate.   Fill in the spider gram of the different people you communicate with and then list why you communicate with them.

Outcome 2: Be able to meet the communication and language needs, wishes and preferences of individuals

Outcomes 2.1 & 2.2 - Demonstrate how to establish the communication and language needs, wishes and preferences of individuals & describe the factors to consider when promoting effective communication
